We are delighted to have initially donated £1,000.00 to this worthwhile and very current charity, which helps tackle food and child poverty in our local communities providing three days’ of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. However we will be looking at other ways to support them throughout the next 12 months through volunteering, fundraising etc.

Child Poverty has especially been brought to everyone’s attention by Marcus Rashford this year and the great work he has done in trying to encourage the Government to do more to help and put adequate funding in place. In the last 12 months of Covid-19, pandemics and the divide between rich and poor getting even wider it is more important than ever before that we do anything and everything we can to help.

If there is anything you can do to support the Bridgwater Foodbank, The Trussell Trust or indeed your local Foodbank then please see some details below that could help you with either a donation of money, food, provide support through volunteering or fundraising etc.
